The vision for the Children's Ministry is to create a nurturing environment where children learn about God's love, develop a strong foundation in their faith, and build meaningful relationships. Through fun, age-appropriate activities and teachings, we aim to inspire a lifelong love for Jesus and help them grow into confident, compassionate individuals who reflect His light in the world.
A Bit About Me
I have been blessed to serve in children’s ministry for 14 years, beginning as a volunteer and working my way through various roles, including nursery director, preschool director, and children’s co-leader, before becoming the Children’s Ministry Director here at Wahoo Baptist Church. My passion stems from wanting to teach kids something I didn’t fully understand when I was young—that Jesus loves them, and they can trust in His promises! My vision for our ministry is to equip kids to be bold in their faith and live in a way that honors God, others, and themselves. Fun facts about me: I love cats, tortoises, gardening, and flowers. I can be a little goofy, and I enjoy spending time outdoors. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 1:21, and my motto is 'Faith, Family, Country.' I’m excited to continue growing our children’s ministry and watching what God will do!

We’re welcoming all kids—from fully potty trained up to 15 years old—for four unforgettable evenings packed with Bible stories, games, crafts, music, and more.

⏰ Time: 5:30 PM–8:30 PM each night
🍽 Dinner: 5:30 PM for kids and volunteers

The Toddler room is for
3 year old toddlers through
Preschool.
Kindergartners through
Fifth Graders meet in the
Big Kid room.
